Good Friday is a sacred day in the Christian Calendar that acknowledges the sufferings of Christ our Saviour through His crucifixion and death at Calvary. Acts 1:3 says, "to whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs". There could be no Resurrection, without a Passion. It is important therefore, that we honour both, for it is only as we honor Christ for His suffering, that we can truly appreciate and understand His love.
